HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Cat# PS100001, Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY DPH2 (Cat# RC201382, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-DPH2(Cat# TA504855). Positive lysates LY419990 (100ug) and LC419990 (20ug) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

  HEK293T cells transfected with either RC201382 overexpress plasmid (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained by anti-DPH2 antibody (TA504855), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.

• Background: This gene is one of two human genes similar to the yeast gene dph2. The yeast gene was identified by its ability to complement a diphthamide mutant strain, and thus probably functions in diphthamide biosynthesis. Diphthamide is a post-translationally modified histidine residue present in elongation factor 2 (EF2) that is the target of diphtheria toxin ADP-ribosylation.
