• Background: Monoclonal antibody OX-26 is useful for detecting dividing cells of various types. It therefore allows a more detailed characterization of myeloid cell development when used in combination with other appropriate markers. OX-26 also detects some non-dividing cells such as endothelial cells in brain capillaries.
