Product Data
Recommended Dilution Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, immunoperoxidase electron microscopy and Immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity.
Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA: 1/50,000.
Western Blot: 1/2000-1/10000.
Immunohistochemistry: 1/1000-1/5000.
Note: This product has been assayed against 1.0 µg of Human IgG in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:200 to 1:1,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.
Reactivities Human
Host Goat
Clonality Polyclonal
Immunogen Human kappa chain.
Specificity This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by Immunoaffinity chromatography using Human antigens coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase and anti-Goat Serum.
No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin or anti-Goat IgG F(c).
Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other human heavy or light chain isotypes.
